Multi-Function Power System Recorder SAVS - China Suppliers & Factory for Sag and Short Interruption Monitoring
Products Description
The SAVS is a multi-function recorder that includes the features of many separate instruments for monitoring a power system. These include system stability, and power quality. SAVS can be used both on HV and LV bus. The voltages and currents on three phase lines are recorded via standard instrumentation transformers to 16-bit accuracy. The state of protection relays and switchgear can also be monitored via auxiliary switch contacts.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the primary applications of the SAVS recorder?
The SAVS is a multi-function recorder designed for monitoring power system stability and power quality. It is highly versatile and can be used on both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) buses.
How does the SAVS monitor and record voltage sags?
The SAVS provides real-time monitoring and recording of voltage sags. It features 1 second of pre-trigger recording before the sag and 30 seconds of post-trigger recording after the sag, allowing for accurate identification of sags as short as 1ms.
Can the SAVS identify the source and phase of a voltage sag?
Yes. The SAVS features intelligent judgment to identify whether the sag originates from the power grid or a load short circuit. It also provides phase separation monitoring to determine if the sag is 1-phase, 2-phase, or 3-phase.
What parameters are included in routine power quality (PQ) monitoring?
The SAVS performs comprehensive routine PQ monitoring including voltage (V), current (I), power factor, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and unbalance, eliminating the need for additional PQ monitors.
What are the key technical upgrades in the latest SAVS model?
Key upgrades include a higher sampling frequency of 20kHz, expanded panoramic recording (-1s to +30s), extended power loss operation up to 60s, accurate Beidou or GPS time synchronization, and a larger 10-inch touch screen interface.
How can I export data from the SAVS system?
Recorded data can be easily exported to a USB flash drive or communicated directly to your backend system using multiple supported protocols and interfaces.
